I think you're having a problem with your premise. Most people are aware that the PMAC will fill up when the team, coach and admin give two shits. I don't see anyone ever saying that it will never fill up, but if you have its most likely young kids who haven't ever seen it full so no one pays them any mind anyways...

Yeah I can go with that. It's not a huge number of people who say it I suppose but they are definitely out there. Maybe it's just that it really pisses me off when they post it. LOL.

No I don't but that's not what my OP was about. It was addressed to the know-it-alls who state that LSU basketball will never have good fan support even when the team is good. This team is not good.

If the Kentucky game sells out, it will be UK fans. Sure if LSU was in the top 15 all year the crowds would be much better Duh. I've seen the dome rock before. If Victor hadn't been tossed, maybe.....maybe LSU could have reached the heights of a NIT bid. As it stands, they will be fortunate to win two more games and sadly the SEC is not close to being a good BB league. One good team and three/four others trying to be decent.

LSU consistently played high-level basketball and drew a lot of fans from the late 70s-early 90s. Several conference championships, 2 Final Fours, several Sweet 16s. NCAA tourney almost every year.
We were a legit program then, and can be again. All the people claiming that we can't be a basketball school are just dead wrong, and probably very young.

Dude FSU has 1, maybe 2 NBA lottery picks. Not to mention they are a Top 10 ranked school who will make some noise in March. Of course people will go watch this team

Jesus CHRIST it's not that hard to understand what I was saying. Of COURSE people are turning out. My post was aimed at the idiots who say LSU fans would never support hoops. I'm telling those idiots that yes, the PMAC would absolutely be rocking with a team like this.

Who the F is saying that LSU couldn't draw a huge crowd as a top 10 team playing a big name program on a Saturday afternoon in a nationally televised game?

Let me refresh your memory. LSU vs Oklahoma just last year. Sold out PMAC. Bandwagon fans come out in droves when teams are winning and have a chance to win.

I haven't kept a list of usernames or bookmarked any posts. But there have absolutely been posts stating that LSU fans will never support basketball. Idiots speaking in absolutes without having a clue what they're talking about.

It's not so much stupid as it is out of place here. Nowhere in this thread have I even remotely complained about LSU fans not attending games. Where you might come off looking rather stupid is that your reading comprehension sucks gigantic balls.
