If Coastal Carolina can do it, so can the LSU Tigers

frick it. Last night happened. We were pitiful in all aspects of the game. It's over and down with.

Hopefully the team is completely embarrassed by that performance and will be out for blood.

All we need to do is throw strikes, field ground balls, and show some patience at the plate. All things we did great during the winning streak.

Legends are made in Omaha. We aren't out of this one yet. Not by a long shot.

They need to figure it out quick cause right now, they are playing like hot garbage.

They better have their shite in gear Wednesday, because praying FSU decides to play soccer with the ball again is not a good recipe for a win.

I would agree with most of that if it were NOT for OSU being there......

It's going to be really hard with your third starter presumably out of the rotation. Poche and Lange can possibly get you to Saturday, but what do you do after that? Remember, there was a rain-out between games 2 and 3 of the championship series. That allowed Coastal to bring back their ace on 5 days rest instead of 4.

Possible? Absolutely. But LSU is going to have to hit their way through the loser's bracket. Scoring 3 runs (without the help of errors) through 2 games isn't going to do it.

I have no doubt that LSU can pull this off but its now a mental game and they had better prepare as such.

Oregon State is a good team and caught us with our tiger tail between our legs. It's time to rebound and play this one game at a time. We have talent. We have veteran leadership. Time to turn it around and fight for every inch of every game.

To add to this point I may be wrong on this but did any of coastals pitchers have interest in playing ball after college? May be something that they didn't have to worry about as much either.

If Walker can pitch Saturday I say we have a decent shot. If he can't it's over

It ain't over 'til it's over. We're so much better than what we showed last night. Just have to flush it and refocus on knocking out FSU tomorrow, then go from there.

Big problem. Coastal was still knocking the hell out of the ball, even in the game they lost, and LSU isn't doing anything like that at the plate.

Even if we win tomorrow, we aren't beating Oregon State twice in a row. Especially if Walker isn't available.

Absolutely this. The 6-7 pitch innings for opposing pitchers has to cease.
