If Alabama has the best college defense ever, will our D next year oust them?

Heard a segment on Fienbaum today were they were declaring Bama's D the best ever. Our D this year is almost on par and were extremely young! Next year will be filthy!

Our D is so different then bamas, it's impossible to compare the two.

You would do better comparing offenses.

Yeah...a guy who lives in Birmingham wrote an article fellating the Bama D for SI...it was also mentioned that the same dude teaches a class at Bama....

That show is just one huge circle jerk...

I'm guessing that Miami '01 and Nebraska '95-96 would have something to say about this.

I think our defense is better than theirs this year, so next year I'd imagine we'd be better as well.

Well this wasnt a idiot typical Fienbaum caller, he had a bunch of " third party " info supporting his case. It just amazed me LSU wasnt mentioned at all.

1961 Alabama team

allowed 22 points in 10 regular-season games

ended the regular season with five consecutive shutouts

That streak was broken in the Sugar Bowl where they gave up 3 points to Arkansas to win the national championship

For the '01 Miami team, I was just thinking of the NFL players that came from that year

He interviewed Nick Saban....the DC for the 1992 Bama team and an OC that faced Bama earlier in the year...

Lets ask Chip Kelly, Merlins and Dana Holgerson about LSU's D?

bama's got a good D. we have played a tougher schedule overall but they have played arkansas and florida (for one half anyway). we also have a good D; so far just as good as theirs and maybe a tad better considering our secondary is better. i do concede their lb's are better.
