Go to a 9 game schedule where every team plays one game in a neutral site per year. Preferably an NFL venue giving some extended TV coverage and some new hype.

This would keep the even home/away current format and add one extra quality game to the schedule.

Several sec teams already do this. Could be an easy fix. (Arky v A&M, Fla v Ga)

For example in LSU’s current schedule, add and SEC east team to go to 9 games, and make Mississippi State a constant neutral site game in the super dome.

Just a thought.

ESPN currently has a pretty good story about how to fix the scheduling for the conference...not gonna link it, just go look. Makes a lot of sense. Kinda surprised there's been no mention here about it, at least none I've seen....GT

I'm gonna laugh my friggin arse off if the SEC goes to a nine game schedule and you folks get "your way".

When the Bama alum in charge of SEC scheduling makes sure LSU plays UF and UGA every year while Bama is playing Tenn and Vandy/Mizzou/KY you folks will get another wake up call.

Let this crap go.
