Even if LF doesn't play DG is a pretty good back up and I think he will come out to prove something against Mizzou. Missouri is very good on offense and the Dline but don't think for one minute our coaches don't know that and will run an offense to take advantage of their weakness. DG might even fit this game better. We also have another big 3rd down back which is very good in Williams. Another guy that will be a different look for Mizzou. So I hope Mizzou is all pumped to come stop LF bc they might be let down just a little there lol

How big is the melt going to be if Mizzou pulls off a W?
Alleva will fire Orgeron next day and promote Aranda to Interim HC. Aranda's first responsibility will be to call Ensminger to fire him and give Craig the OC job. (Tongue firmly in cheek)...

LSU will always be confident bc we know on any given night LSU can come out and destroy a number 1 team like they did in 97 to FL. Crazy things happen at night in DV and this isn't 97 FL coming in here.

Kinda like Jacksonville St.and Mississippi State's high powered offenses you faced. You barely scored against anyone you faced this year. You boys are in for a rude awakening.

I am just saying that I think this game is going to be a lot closer than you think it will be. If I am wrong than you can call me on it.

Auburn did and they are hot garbage on offense. Your defense will be on the field the entire game.

The game could go either way, but I'm serious when saying Mizzou isn't a team to sleep on this year. We run around 100 plays per game and have a defense that is prepared to stop the run.

If you win, it's going to be due to Etling absolutely killing it. Idk, I just don't see it happening.

IMO with all of the distractions/changes there are more reasons to think LSU will come out and lay an egg this weekend. None of you have given reasons as to why LSU is going to be so fired up or focused for this game.

WHy is the general consensus on this board that LSU will come out fired up and focused this Saturday?

The LSU locker room is full of a bunch of guys who signed to come to LSU and play for Les Miles. Firing Les mid-season should really tick them off. If they get behind early I could easily see them turning on the interim coach and I think it will only get worse as the season goes on.

Why is everyone here so convinced that LSU firing Les guarantees a good performance this week?

This one is better:

If Mizzou has less than 2 turnovers and less than 5 penalties than they are going to put up 35+ points. Do you guys really think LSU is ready to put up 30-40 points?

These are classic, those are the ones you loved les more than LSU. They wanted LSU to fail to justify their love for Les

Here's a post from the Mizzou board predicting last night's game....

quote:

Mizzou 27-16

Passing game is too much for LSU (big mismatch here by the numbers) and their offense doesn't have the firepower to keep up.

Fournette, if he plays, will be less than 100% and our defensive scheme is basically designed for this type of offense.

Their QB is the walking embodiment of "just a guy" and their WR have been inconsistent.
