Hey guys,
I just moved to Waco, TX on the first of the year and have been watching games at home with the Mrs. but really want to hit a sports bar with some fellow fans for the tourney game. My wife will be back in BR so I can't even count on one other fan watching with me...
If anyone is planning to get a group together and watch the game or know of any nearby LSU groups, any help is appreciated! Would be willing to drive as far as College Station/Austin/Dallas/Ft Worth.
Thanks in advance and !
Sincerely,
Tiger Fan stuck in TX

I am in Austin now, there are a lot of good sports bars here. One of which is an LSU/Saints themed place on Lavaca. A lot of alumni live here now, and I have found watching any LSU event there is always fun.

I feel your pain, I spent my first 21 years of life in Waco and as an LSU fan there really isn't much to do. Obviously if you didn't want to leave the area I would say George's is your best bet. Always a great time and there's nothing better than a Big-O. However, there won't be many LSU faithful, if any at all, there. It's a big Baylor bar, pretty much right across 35 from campus.
My dad will probably go out to watch the game, but if LSU loses he wouldn't be very enjoyable to be around lol.
DFW is probably your best bet.
