i loved it through the post-Lester Earl fiasco, the john brady "35 seconds of hell" offensive juggernaut, and the trent years.

a giant piece of my fanhood died the day this clown was hired. the "search" was a complete joke. as a fellow fan said earlier, "i'll start caring about LSU Basketball again when LSU starts caring about LSU Basketball again." a good step would be to actually fricking try to hire the BEST POSSIBLE CANDIDATE next time. in hindsight, tubby smith would have been a home run compared to this garbage.

things aren't going to get better. how can they? every coach in america will be negative recruiting against this moron as long as he's here.

Listen: brothers, my white palomino stallion is in the stable until further notice. i'll pray for change in the form of a new coach but i can't see it.

no discipline,no leadership, no fundamentals, no defense, nothing.nothing, nothing, nothing. nothing.

to those still all in, i salute you and send positive vibes to you and the players who will be back next year.

I can't say I blame you. I am feeling the same way. It's a damn shame.

One good thing about the hoop program it can be turned around quickly if the right things are put in place. We can only hope.

Remember when people got mad at me because I said LSU doesn't care about promoting basketball? They don't care about basketball so they aren't going to promote it.

Time to the send the it off to the glue factory and get a new stallion. One that isn't touched in the head.

I don't trust jones, but I think not accepting a postseason bid was the first step forward in taking our loses and re-evaluating things. I think LSU is about to start a recruiting run in which they do not necessarily just target the best of the best players, but good players who are passionate about the program, and not just going pro. I think a lot of the guys we get in today's time feel entitled because they are at a big time school like LSU, rather than actually competing and respecting the opponents they face. You cannot expect LSU to be Kentucky in basketball, but we should expect them to play harder than they did this season, and not play unenergized basketball like they did down the stretch this season. That all goes back to the attitude of the team, and jones did not do his job in terms of building a strong team chemistry to correct the teams negative attitude towards working hard to achieve their goals. This team bought into the hype, but neglected work ethic.

I'm pretty exhausted baws. been around these parts for awhile now and long for the days of arguing with brady loyalists. maybe I should have listened to them when I was a teen

It's truly sad to see just how in over our heads we were with a guy like Simmons. I feel like Johnny's entire tenure here has been revolved around Simmons and he royally fricked it up.
