It didn’t change the trajectory which is usually what makes it obvious, but you could clearly see his finger bend backwards.

You can see his finger being bent back clearly in that one view.

Bama gonna Bama though.

Angle behind QB ball did seem to change spin

Ya but Bama can get possession of a fumble by putting a fingertip on the ba laying out of bounds

It looked like it slightly bumped the ball up but it wasn’t clearly obvious.

Replay crew in Birmingham isn’t overturning that..

Absurd Bush League call, anyone with a HDTV saw the tip.

The Refs screwed up the call with Pass Interference. If they would have called holding, then the ball would have been tipped upon review.

Birmingham Bitches couldn't change the outcome, although they tried.

I'm still trying to figure out how they decided there was evidence the Bama player actually touched the ball with his feet out of bounds.

Hell no, it wasn’t clear. It might have been tipped. If they had called a tipped ball, then Bama would have been screwed, because we held the receiver, which is a penalty whether or not it is tipped.

It was very subtle, but I agree. You could clearly see the finger bend back at the same time the ball passed by

It was. Watch his middle finger get flipped back as the ball passes. There is no question it was tipped.

It was clearly tipped.

The tip was very slight, but the rule doesn’t state the extent of the tip needed. Only need a tip.

The fact they overturned the fumble by a technicality but didn’t overturn the PI call by a technicality made me feel very skeptical.

Glad LSU pulled it out.
