Yeah it's definitely not to rest him and make sure he's not injured for Florida at all. It's all about motivation because Fournette takes sooo many plays off.

150+ in 2 1/2 quarters. Yep. Totally shut down. #BigRunsDontMatter

Some of you are so disappointing.

Fournette got his stats and the game was in hand...at that point your monster running back doesn't need to take anymore hits.

25+ guys a year commit here with promises and dreams of playing as well, can't give it all to LF7.

Not to mention he will likely carry the ball 25-30 times against UF.

I think he's in the doghouse for the Heisman pose vs Sam Houston

Fournette on the bench for a quarter and a half put the rest of our opponents on notice- Guice is getting it going and will be a huge second punch down the stretch. And when the D gets tired and Les wants to slow it down, Williams comes in and cracks skulls.

The depth had been great since game one, but Guice and Williams are starting to pick it up more now. There is less of a drop off than there was vs State and Auburn now.

On his last carry it appeared the SC TACKLER twisted his ankle under him. Fournette. American to side line limping slightly. Coaches need him healthy for the Gators. I was afraid he had high ankle sprain after seeing the replay of his last carry Sat.

Well we know it is NOT because he is human and we might want to keep his legs fresh, since he is actually Superman disguised as Fournette.

We have an awesome running back stable. After an 87 run for a TD and the game in hand, no reason to put him in there after 158 yards when Guice is shredding it like we has. We need him fresh vs. FL.

Also, word in the stadium of the Chubb incident and the resulting video spread fast. I overheard a fan next to me talking about it and my buddy pulled the video up on his phone in the first quarter. We cringed, it looked so damn bad. That had to have an impact on the decision as well IMO.

I didn't want to say anything because I know how you guys treat insiders but this is the truth.

I know someone who works in laundry at the facility and there was a letter taped to the inside of someone's jock strap alluding to this very thing.
