the plays were there all day and he just couldnt make them.

This. Our WRs were open all night. He just couldn't get them the ball. I appreciate the effort he gives, but I really don't think he's the answer at QB.

I feel the same about both the QB and MLB positions. The guys in the game are there because the know more of the plays, but cannot execute anything other than giving instructions. It is time to get the talent on the field so we have 11 guys fighting together. Execution beats knowledge.

Just to simplify things, I bucket issues into three categories: In this case I would say the 3 MAJOR PROBLEMS were, in no particular order, as follows: 1) Poor QB Play 2) Poor OL Line Play and 3) Poor DL Play.

Every things said, If Jennings play well still not sure we win and argue the OL play was a dominant factor in his poor play.

Bruised but not broken, I will be flying in from Colorado with my little girl for the Kentucky Game and expect we the Tigers to have some answers on the offensive side of the ball, not sure how we fix the DL issue, unless Valentine becomes eligible

Not his best game, not indicative of his potential, but I love watching him fight, and I'm happy that he's a Tiger.

You must have watched a different game than I did. Quinn can go from one side of the field wide the frick open to the other with nobody on him only to have Jennings throw when he reached the other sideline how us that not enough time?

OL was bad and play calling was terrible. Jennings does seem to have accuracy and touch issues.

There is absolutely nothing not to love about Anthony Jennings on the intangible side. He's a great kid. Smart, tough, dedicated, great attitude. He's just physically limited and unfortunately does not appear to be in a system that minimizes his limitations.

In other words, he's the wrong QB for the offense that Les Miles recruited him for. That's crazy when you think about it. How do you recruit a kid and then set him up for failure by putting him in an offense that isn't structured around his strengths?

That's 110% on the coaches.

I'm sure most of you don't feel the same. He didn't play well, but he was given no time all night. He stood in the pocket and got hammered several times. He was injured twice, but shook it off and came back in. I don't know if he is the guy moving forward, but he showed some grit in that game and I respect the hell out of him for that.

Wasn't he sacked most times from under center?

Shot gun!!!

none the less, Harris needs to be the starter from shot gun of course

I am very impressed with those who've posted here and are able to discern Jennings' talent on the basis of a handful of games and very few rushes or pass attempts.
More impressive are those who have been able to watch him on the sidelines, look into his very soul and deem him "selfish".
One of our fans was able tell Jennings was selfish solely on the basis of his reaction to a score. Not possessing such powers personally, I thought Jennings' demeanor might have been influenced by his having been injured only minutes earlier.
I would like to encourage these erudite posters to continue to give us these insights. It is very helpful to the team and scrupulously fair to the players they critique.
Well done!
