It has been THOROUGHLY PROVEN that whatever problems he may have had......... They were multiplied by the dumb frick with the head coaching title.

JJ has been almost completely vindicated by subsequent events.

Yep. JJ wasn't putting himself in the game.

Miles is a terrible Xs and Os coach and game planner.

Go back and look at his stats as an OC at OSU.

It's unbelievably similar to the offenses we've had here

The man has made a deal with Satan for him to even have an opportunity to be a HC when you looked at his resume prior to being a HC

Most of it is on Les not JJ and Harris

it's perhaps arguable that he wasn't very good but what is indisputable at this point is that however good he was, Miles made him worse. Whatever his ceiling was, there wasn't a chance in hell we were going to see it.

Yeah, after yesterday we all owe JJ an apology.

Frick that. JJ would blame other players and not himself. He doesn't deserve any apologies.

He was mirroring his coach who blames the players every week.

With real coaching, JJ could have been a very good qb, though not great.

Our staff and scheme could almost mess up any QB. I've had this opinion for a number of years. It even took Mett until his 3rd year in the program to look decent and that was with two of the best WRs any team could ever have (and one of the best RBs any team could have). And even then, we couldn't pass effectively against Ole Miss, Bama and Arkansas (we got bailed out by Jennings of all people against Arkansas).

Completely agree. I always felt like Jefferson was handled like a dual-threat QB when in reality he was more of a pocket passer. It was amazing to see him get more run opportunities than our running back, but no way he decided that.

Our scheme rely on 50/50 jump balls and WR's to make acrobatic and one handed catches. No other team in the country has WR's consistently blanketed like ours.

JJ / Jlee for sure would have had productive college careers if played elsewhere.

There is a strange Irony in a Miles offense in that the way they CALL PLAYS seems even more complex than the offense. JJ and Harris are not the kind of guys set up to work on the fly like that. I think both would more benefit from old school plays called out of the huddle. I think that has a LOT to do with both not reaching what should have been a higher potential.
