2-3 November 2008..wins vs Tulane and Troy(epic struggle)

1-2 November 2009..win vs La Tech(major struggle)

0-8 streak vs Meyer(0-2), Saban(0-2), Nutt(0-3), Petrino(0-1)

And 7-8 last 15 in SEC play..

Will all bring about such issues for 4M Per.

Don't feel bad for him. He has a job at a top program. Makes much $. Has a huge buyout. Feel bad for the players.

Personally I would like to thank you for this post. We forget that these are real human beings with families. I don't care how much money you make. We are all subject to making mistakes. As a Tiger Fan, I'm certainly not happy with his decision making, but to make personal attacks is outright wrong. Criticize his coaching, lack of game management skills, etc. LSU fans are doing more to hurt the program than they realize by making these personal attacks. I for one would hate to coach at LSU simply because of the idiotic and completely disloyal fan base.

While LSU's "fan base" isn't the only fan base that has acted/is acting like this toward their respective team's coach, it's just sad to see all of the immaturity and back turning in such a short amount of time. Is Les Miles perfect? No. Is any head coach perfect? No. He made a huge mistake, but so did Belichick (sp?). I'm not saying Les is the best coach, but he is definitely a good one. People forget the changes he made in the off-season to fix the defensive problems and all of the sudden they have no faith in him that he'll change things on the offensive side of the ball.

I've witnessed a national championship under him which is something few people can say about their team. He's putting together stellar recruiting class after class that is stacking together for a nice talent wave ready to play for next season. Recruits and their families love him and want to play for him because he's proven that he's loyal to the team. Sadly, the fans can't be loyal to him. 4M per or not, it's just a disappointing thing to witness from such spoiled people themselves.

I was feeling just like this before yesterday. That game opened my eyes to 5 years of the same crap. Delay of games, lined up incorrectly, out of position, clock management, questionable play calling. It worked in 2007. That's it. Yeah, he won, but do you honestly think that winning 8-9 games a year without a chance at the SEC championship is worth the money?

I agree, and though not a Miles backer and a Negatiger by this board's standards, I've RA'ed(requested administration) at least 4 times today(never have ever before on any subject matter) on behalf of remarks made towards Coach Miles.

There is a way to have your voice with class and facts, and without petty slander and malicious intent.

"talent wave?"

We heard that last year and the year before that. When's it going to payoff?

7 and 8.

yup.

of course, they might not be as talented as we think. I used to hear the same thing about Smoke but when you looked at the drafts, the number of players drafted and their ranking of the draft definitely went down.

but he is definitely a good one.

Sorry bub, but I have to disagree with you here. I watched him coach at Okie Lite and I've seen him at LSU. He's a mediocre coach at best who hides his flaws by hiring good assistants. I don't have anything against the man personally, but I want him out at LSU. He's in over his head.
