I agree with you one hundred percent if it was not for the great state of Louisiana delivering excellent talent every year we would struggle every season but we are just more talented than every team we play with the exception of Bama... Our coaching is putrid

Les Miles has a top 5 win % in the entire history of sec football.all but 2 of the coaches that get paid more than Miles, have worse records. If lsu wins out we will be ranked and have extended our streak of 9 win seasons. Only 3 other programs in all cfb have maintained a 9 win streak as long as lsu.
Thank god the people that actually make decisions for the lsu athletic dept dont think like some of you short sided fans. You would have wanted Saban fired if you held him to the same standard you now hold to miles. Saban lost 3 at least 3 games every year but once. Saban's 2001 sec title ( Dinardo's players) was won with 3 losses.

So last year wasnt a good passing year? 3000 yard passer? 2011 wasnt a good passing year, 2 of our qbs were tops in the sec for efficiency? 2007 wasnt a good passing year when the passing tds record for lsu was tied? 2009 was bad passing, when JJ had abetter passer rating in 2009 than Flynn did in 2007?
Our offenses arent ALWAYS shite.

Pretty sure that posters know this thumping of high powered offenses comes from the defense LSU is known for. You know, all those guys in the NFL that keep leaving early. 3 and outs don't stop anyone. Miles is getting worse. Admit it. He looked good at one point just like a Bowden or Mack Brown or Paterno. It's now at a point where he needs to realize that all the programs around him have caught up or he will get run over.
If LSU has an average QB in 2011, they win the Title.

We have done that most years. Again, we are a ball controlled offense that uses the entire play clock.im not talking about this year.we don't have a ton of yards offensively because we dont run a hurry up offense.lsu will never have huge totals offensively because we rank low total offensive plays ran, but if you look at yards per play and points per play, we ranked in the top 10 last year.

The standard we hold miles to is because we see our teams under achieving every year... Our team is so talented but a lack of play calling and putting the correct players in the correct positions has costed us many games for many years so shut that up. I agree that we have won many games but how did we win em running 75% of the time and our D playing excellent.... That is a 5th grade game plan really... We are a superior talented team that is why we win not MILES

My point in my original post!!!! If Mett doesn't grope some girl and get kicked out of UGA, then what does LSU's QB history look like? How bad would last year have been with that unusually poor defense?
Really my point here...2007...only real passing threat year. Won title. Why can't a school this powerful be more consistent at the QB spot? JJ is part of this crappy QB legacy

I agree real LSU fans that understand football cheer for the program but hate miles because we know he holds us back from being just like Bama contenders year after year

In 2010 bama had a senior National champ qb(mcelroy), a hiesman winning rb (ingram)backed up by a top 3 draft pick rb(trich), a first rd wr (Julio),4 first rd olinemen, 1st rd de ( darius) AND THE ENTIRE 2011 BAMA DEFENSE and they lost 3 games.
Bama has the best coach in all of football, with by far the most talent, and for 4 STRAIGHT YEARS they haven't played the 1st, 2nd ,or 3rd place finisher in the east
and they lose every year to a less talented team.
If you held saban(at lsu)to the same standard you hold miles too, you would want him fired. Saban lost AT LEAST 3 games a year but once at lsu.

Its a standard you hold a team to.... Fans can see a superior talented team and watch them underachieving year after year this falls back on the coaches MILES DOES IT EVERY YEAR
