Yes, we had some missed tackles but it wasn't anything horrible.

BULL to the shite. Special teams tackling was especially horrible. I honestly think our boys cam in here and thought we would roll ole miss.

Looked pretty shoddy to me.

There were some big plays, but it wasn't because of bad tackling. Almost 1/2 of their rushing yards came on 3 plays where we didn't even touch the runner until the run was almost over. If we had bad tackling anywhere then it would be on special teams.

chavis called a terrible game. again. he was blitzing in all the wrong situations, and not blitzing on 3rd and 15.

the other 50% goes to our secondary. but we're young. we can't play lights out all the time with that youth.

1. Missed tackles all day long

2. We have problems with running QBs

3. Botched coverage assignments

4. Couple of big bogus calls

5. Crazy Houston Nutt

Similar to the story against Auburn. Chavis called a very timid and watch and react defense, and our players struggled with it by missing tackles and losing contain.

IMO, Chavis just has to let this defense play its game and let the defense dictate the opposing team's offense.

It happened in the Bama game too. We shut them down when we let our defense dictate the game. Once we got the lead and sat back, they drove down the field on us with little resistance.

That is my major issue with him. He's a great coordinator, but just has to trust his players instead of coaching afraid.

I think CLM spelled it out going into the half: the guys in defense where getting thrown off by the schemes and being too aggressive when they should've been staying home.

Ole Piss had plays where Bolden and Masoli had holes big enough through an 18 wheeler could be backed. Our guys just got induced into over pursuit or premature attacks. Those frickers used the Chief's aggression against him.
