I mean, there's probably going to be some mention due to the 3 losses, but they also might just point out LSU played (and lost to) 2 of the 5 playoff contenders on the road, and 10-2 Ole Miss on the road.
And point out his production in those games.

It's an award for being the best player. Since he's an offensive player, the majority of discussion will be on his offensive production.
Same for the Biletnikoff Award with Nabers; they're not going to talk about how bad the defense was, they will talk about his performance.

The deal with Daniels and having a bad defense will be minimal. His main competition is Nix, who ended up having 2 losses also.
