I know it’s been a frustrating season, but year 2 is always going to be tough when you had so much success in year 1. BK inherited a dumpster fire of a roster and won the west with it. Every team we played had the LSU game circled on their schedule this year because of BK and what he did in year 1.

Give him some time and let him build up the roster a little bit more. It will happen! An NC is coming to LSU! Geaux tigers!!!

right, since he's proven that he's capable during his HUGE D1 sample size!

So when will he start winning big games?

And why will he start now and not in the last 10-15 years as a HC?

Very much a victim of his own success last season. Reaching the SEC title game after winning the west created unrealistic expectations, especially after considering the depleted roster he inherited. I too am confident in his ability to bring us another NC.

That being said, I think its important to finish these last 3 games strong. Need to see some effort and fight out of these guys to show that they are buying in to Coach Kelley. Also think he needs to make some significant upgrades to his defensive staff. Accomplishing these things would go a long way to showing that he is the man for the job.

Did you not see last years Bama game? We were 15 point underdogs and they had a heisman man winner on their team

He beat Bama in his first year. CBK would have beat them again if we had just an average defense the other night. CBK will get it done.

Do you disagree with what I said? We were #4 coming into the preseason this year and people have still been hyping us in spite of the losses. We’re the defending SEC west champs

Log off, find a DC, and buy out the Aramark contract Scott.

teams are ready to play regardless year after year.

you are acting like we killed all teams last year and each and everyone was out for blood this year! only for us! as if we came off a natty! or have a 10 game win streak against all.

Teams are more hyped and more focused in games against higher ranked opponents because they have more to gain if they win. That’s why crazy upsets happen all the time

I believe he will coach a national championship team at LSU. What’s more? I think that we will be at the top of the league perennially.

Just don't see it, he never wins the big game and it's not changing here. Our biggest weakness is doing horrible on the recruiting trail.

We need a qb, dl, lb and dbs bad

Sadly, Coach Kelly will never have a team that wins the NC.

After Alabama smeared LSU all over the field, he should have laid into the players. Tell them that "losers are worthless and weak".

There should have been a beatdown on the player who targeted JD. There wasn't. No fire. No heart.

This is so funny???

So les miles won a championship prior to Lsu? Or uh how about Ed??

You are crazy if you cannot get excited about the attitude and structure that is in the program for the first time since st Nick.

The other two won ships after getting here and if anything it proves that cbk will eventually do the same.. will it be 1-2years or 3-4years if so close before finally getting the prize…

All I want to see is improvement from the team every year and every game, he has done that. Defense is on chopping block for next year and this year is not anything he can really do

Great coach beating the crappy teams with an occasional win against a Top 25 opponent. But put him against a Top 10 and he completely fails.

There are plenty of reasons to believe Brian Kelly will win a title at LSU, which is why I do ultimately think that he will.

1) The defense needs to be fixed starting with the staff. Brian Kelly has a documented history of attracting elite level DC's. It's entirely possible that House was his VanGorder and the next guy will be his Elko.

2) The last 3 HC's have all won titles at LSU and Kelly is head and shoulders a better coach than Miles or Orgeron. I'd argue he's as good or better than Saban was at LSU.

3) He's figured out the offensive piece which is the most important in today's game. Have an elite offense and a competent defense and you can win championships.

4) He's won everywhere he's been, including at Notre Dame. By the way, his last two years at ND were 21-4. Since then, ND is 16-7.

Plenty of reason for optimism around Kelly if you zoom out a bit.

Anyone bailing on Kelly now is an idiot.

Hes done wonder on the offense in 1.5 years. He will fix the defense.
