We have a fricking pee-wee defense that let 2-6 Arkansas put up 31 points against us. Of course a lot of people on here aren't feeling good about Saturday

I've seen posts this week stating "We turn the worst quarterbacks in the conference into heisman contenders." We've played 2 bad SEC quarterbacks and they've put up either their worst or second worst team performances of the year.
I've seen posts this week stating "Alabama is going to run the ball down our throats" despite the fact that Alabama is a bad running team and their offense is predicated around Jaden Milroe throwing the ball high and far, something we actually haven't struggled with this season.
Tons of people on this board haven't watched Alabama play a snap of football this season and it's very obvious. LSU wins this one by 2+ scores.

That's less ppg than 2014 LSU, the worst LSU offense I've seen in the last 25 years
Alabama is only 11 spots higher than Auburn in offensive EPA. 81st in the country. This is a bad offensive football team.
Their defensive EPA is 12 spots higher than Florida State.
You're essentially playing a slightly better version of Auburn's offense and a slightly better version of Florida State's defense. Auburn had 2 productive drives on us all game. We prevented ourselves from scoring, conservatively, 17 more points against Florida State (in all honesty this number is probably closer to 28) without our starting running back.

It's the stigma of Bama. If this team was wearing any other jersey our fans would be calling for 10+ point win.

He's not wrong. Bama averages like 16 more ypg than State does. State averages 152 rushing; Bama is 147. I didn't realize that.
State is also at 101 in Passing offense. I feel bad for Rogers. He should have gone pro. They have neutered him.
Alabama's defense is 17 in YPG at 306.4 ypg. Arkansas is 31st at 333. If you take out the LSU game, Arky is 307.9 which would be 19th.

Are you comparing Milroe to Peyton Thorne and Will Rogers? KJ Jefferson is a much better comparison.

LSU is 1-2 vs ranked teams this year. But you think we are going to beat a top 10 team by 2+ scores on the road while missing 4 defensive players?

This is the most confident going into a Bama game I’ve been since 2019. I think our defense steps up and our offense embarrasses Bama.

I believe the defense has improved, but the only evidence of that is against Auburn and Army who both suck. The concern is valid. Alabama's offense is also much better than you are giving them credit for, and it's a defense that is capable of giving our offense their worst performance of the season.
