Bingo! All this talk about fairness ,... Drives me nuts! If the Harris supporters would just realize that letting Jennings be the fall guy behind a beat up line, is better for their (our cause). Harris will not get the kind of experience you want him to get. Not now.

so how would you rate BH's performance at Auburn in his first career start to AJ's performance against New Mexico State AT HOME in his SIXTH start Holmes? didn't he turn the ball over 3 times in a quarter? it's a wash in my book and most everyone else's too with any sense. the issue that the BH supporters has is why hasn't he played since? there's no logical explanation.

Leading up to the Alabama game (we've only played one game since), there was most certainly a logical explanation. The explanation was that, despite Jennings' obvious shortcomings, the team could play with anyone with the improvement on the OL. And, they were right.

After the Bama game, it should have changed only because we need to develop Harris for next year.

I often ponder this, but LSU has 20hrs/wk to bring along underdeveloped personnel.
The staff has an obligation to produce the best season possible, not waste it on the hope of a single player who could get hurt in camp, possibly not seeing the field following year.
Not really addressing you, but much of the thread sentiment in general.

It doesn't have to make sense. It's Les. Look at 2010 for a prime example of his ineptitude with handling QBs. Lee continually came in to play well why JJ stink it up, yet sat the bench most of the year as JJ finished the regular season with 4 TD passes as a junior starting in 20 or so games.

Lee helped in 2010 with Tennessee and UF, but was still as bad a JJ was. Stop half arse remembering everything.

I've wondered if a young confident guy like Harris who had some success is aggravated he isn't the starter and has expressed that.

But no matter lots of shite that happens makes little sense. Then its to late to change becuz we have lost to many games to make a difference.

Well then what explanation do you have for what we have witnessed, Duckie? You normally seem pretty level headed, so that's why I am seeking your opinion. Maybe it's just your avi though.

Except most people would just like to see both QBs get some playing time going forward so they can progress towards next year.
