If he can get us 5+ innings I think we win the game. That puts us in pretty good shape the rest of the game. Also, any word on who is pitching for the gators?

Just seeing if that's the general consensus around here. If he is startled early, who do we go to?

If he gives 5 good innings, I'll shite myself.

I won't go that far.

But I'll be happy if he gets thru the order 1 time with little damage and then go from there. If he can get us through it twice, fricking awesome.

If he does around what he did against TCU, that will be awesome.

The thing about Florida is that you can limit their offense and still not come away with a win. Florida is not going to pound you offensively.

The key to this game and this series is LSU getting to Florida's pitchers.

I would have thought he was hoping for a bad outing but this is a bold strategy

You mean Gilbert's 7 1/3 giving up like 2 hits? Yeah, I bet you do.

You're not sure if people generally want our starting pitcher to throw the game of his life in game 1 of the championship series?

CPM knows that Gilbert's stellar performance just might light a fire under Reynolds in his potential last time toeing the rubber for LSU. I would love to see the 5th year senior go out in style.

I just want him to get through the lineup one time and it be within a run. Hopefully that'll get them into and possibly through the 3rd. Then they can go from there.

Can we petition the camera crew to find his sister in the stands and give her more FaceTime than Kim?

I just hope the whole staff walks less than 4, and that Newman is on when he is called.
Throw strikes and we win.

No I'm just questioning if he stays for say 4 innings will the guys that come in after him be solid and put us in a good position?
