I honestly have no idea what to expect this year.....

More so than any other year before. Anyone else in that same boat? I don't know if I should get excited or temper expectations. What say the Rant?

Indeed, and it's refreshing. No expectations, no pressure, just gonna enjoy watching Key, Guice, etc.

If they simplify their routines, and not go for the high degree 10's, and settled for the low degree 9.95's, the Gymnastics team could win a Natty, no joke...

In my experience, when national expectations are low that's when LSU has a great season. Here's to low expectations!

The bright spot is the QB play, but now the HC and the new offense is the big question. If the head coach can handle that pressure cooker and the offense doesnt get too finesse or gimmicky, this could be a 2018 bowl team.

someone (SI or Athlons) had us pegged for a new years 6. id sign up for that with our new offense, possible issues at o line and qb

Athlon. They have us in the Fiesta against USC. If that happens, with O coaching LSU, the hype would be redonculous. They also have Bama making the championship again, and Auburn in a NY6 bowl.

I have low expectations and honestly I hate it. I liked the feeling of truly believing we had a shot at the national title.

With O I think we win the ones we are supposed to and lose most of the ones we aren't supposed to win. So I am guessing slightly better than before, but I'm not expecting a national championship anytime in the near future.
