Was les miles. The tidbits that are coming out about preparedness , BH, watching film and the lack of passion, play calling, players utilization, etc. How in the fuvk can someone make 5.5 million a year with the product we witness the last couple of years. I feel badly for our players and fans because the performance should have been a lot better. Talent needs proper coaching.

Rant over, turn the page , Geaux Tigers

He earned that salary by his success earlier in his career.

Miles was more stubborn than he was incompetent. An incompetent person does not have the career that Miles had.

His legacy will be shite if BeBe runs the table or even just puts a team on the field that looks interested in playing

He lucked out and won an NC in 2007 with players indoctrinated with Saban's philosophy. In 2011 he redeemed himself and managed to field probably the best team in the history of college football, only to destroy the team's legacy, his legacy, and the program on 1/9/12. For that he will not and should not ever be forgiven.

Stop with this stupidity. We had coordinators at that time who had the strength to impose their will. Saban's philosophy had nothing to do with it. why was the team mediocre in Saban's last year if his philosophy is so spectacular?

the glaring attention to detail issues were the first things being addressed by O, and that was only the start of our problems.

Are you implying that Sabans philosophy isn't spectacular? Saban wI'll be known as the best college football coach of all time when he's done and there will be no arguing that.

at the time it did not yield spectacular results

LSU Saban is not the same as Alabama Saban

Just like Miles regressed, Saban has progressed through his career

This is correct and yet supposedly incompetent Miles has a higher winning percentage in 2,25 more time at the helm and having to coach against the best college football coach of all time.

It's become painfully clear to me that many ranters do not understand the meaning of many words. You can say Miles was not a great coach (people will debate that, I'm sure), You could try to make the case that he was not even a good coach (IMO you would be completely wrong here), but it is asinine to suggest he was incompetent.

That's ridiculous.

What if BeBe loses 6 more games? Is Miles's legacy even greater? That logic is stupid.

He didn't 'luck out' any more than Saban did in 2003. I would say the were both beneficiaries of the system.

I think Miles was s very good coach at one time but along the way he became a bad coach due to his stubbornness.

He made poor use of some of the best talent ever to come through LSU. But we are only allowed to think happy thoughts about him.

No you're not. Just try to refrain from the stupid ones. Which apparently is extremely difficult on this board.
