Louisiana high school football players are the best in the country. That's why Bama recruits them. We're confident, not arrogant. Also, we don't kill trees. Also, we don't tea bag helpless drunk people and go to jail.

You mean that's why Saban recruits them, Saban knows all about LA football players. He would put up a fence around LA while he coached in Bama if he could. lol

not telling him they are better than you, failure to acknowledge their greatness, making the statement that you have ever beat them or may beat them in the future.
anything other than stating they are the best ever and will be forever in all things is considered arrogant by a Gump.
That's why they like Aggies so much, they are the ultimate dickriders. Hence not arrogant.

Every fan base has arrogant, rude and stuck up fans. Every fan base also has nice, understanding fans who are realists.

None of the Bama fans I've met in person were arrogant.
The poster children for arrogance reside in Florida. Not only are they arrogant about UF, they were stuck up snobs in general. (I'm from Florida and have extensive experience wtih those people.) (FSU and Miami fans were always great - I had many friends who were fans of those two schools)

Bama fans to be are like St. Louis baseball fans. The one's I come across are nice enough, but it's a condescending cordialness. They both think the invented their respective sports.

This is a perfect analysis of Bama fan. Add to that, the ratio of Bama fans who either graduated from Bama or at least attended for a few years vs sidewalk fan is probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 1:10.
Hell, there is a whole segment of people in Dutchtown alone who are Bama fans, and have nothing to do with Bama whatsoever. Other than giving them two stud athletes.
LSU fans may be arrogant, but Bama fans are that times 20.
