The times I went to practice, miles would walk around with a clipboard and not really say anything. The aloof CEO. Now Saban and Jimbo? You knew where they were all the time even if you were blindfolded.
I suspect O falls into the latter category.

This is what pisses me off the most. Just be prepared to play and make some adjustments. We were completely unprepared to play these last two games.

2012-2013 were the most damning to me. Since Flynn left the offense sucked, and we kept thinking it was a QB issue. That Hatch, JL, JJ were the problems. That the program was derailed by Periloux. Then in 2012 Mett starts and the offense STILL sputters. Mett was a junior, did a year at UGA, played great in JUCO and got a ton of reps, and had a year on the LSU bench to learn the playbook. He was our savior and the offense sucked out loud.
2013 comes around and the offense is much better, yet still sputtered against Bama and still failed against Ole Miss and still was middle of the SEC pack statistically. We can look back now and realize that 2013 offense featured NFL skill players who simply were so good that any scheme should've worked terrifically, even this scheme which was often Mett tossing it up and letting ODB or Landry make a circus catch.
If THAT skill talent still couldn't cut it against a Bama team that finished with 2 losses and was waxed by OK, then there's zero hope of ever beating Bama again.

Surely with several assistant coaches with lots of college and nfl experience they would discipline their units even if the head coach doesn't

Your thread should be anchored if you won't name the "coach."

Anyone that has ever been exposed to the inner workings of the program think these guys are a joke, but the no nothing super fans on here always come in to say people don't know shite and they're all awesome.
Miles is a complete clown, he is the biggest farce of a coach and "family man"

Ask him if LSU practices the pass AT ALL during practice. I watch college football all day Saturday and see teams throwing all over the field successfully.
And then I watch LSU, who quarterbacks can't even throw a screen pass or a 10-yard slant. WTF do our quarterbacks do at practice?

He said they do practice stuff, but they stop practice and over correct too much and it slows down practice. They do too much talking rather than just letting the reps happen and correcting them in film or in group during the next practice. It slows things down and costs reps.

Why would Jimbo leave FSU?
Posted on 11/15/15 at 11:53 am to biglego
Because he loves LSU mainly.
Posted on 11/15/15 at 11:55 am to Mattwells90
Well I don't think many of us would gripe about Jimbo but he'd have to really love LSU to leave his sweet FSU gig.
Posted on 11/15/15 at 11:56 am to biglego
LSU has deeper pockets, he loves LSU, and the allure of the SEC is in our favor.

Was kinda sorta plausible until this point

I can't believe that someone has not given CLM's overall winning %

If you take away the cupcake games, Les is fast approaching 70% win percent. A far cry from the 80% his first few years. I'll update it when the season is over.
