Tried google-nothing. LSU should have this record as well (495 1st half) against OU (the team with no Defense). No mention during the broadcast. Help!

Andre Ware threw for 517 yards in the first half against SMU in 1989. Houston had over 1000 yards of total offense in that game.

I wasn't aware the playoffs have been around that long. They've really done a bad job marketing it until recently.

I happened to catch end of the 2nd half and a little of the 3rd last night. They did mention the record for most yards, most TDS by Jefferson and a few others (maybe TDs by Burrow) and showed a graphic with the records. Then they said after talking about Burrow “if he’s not the #1 pick in the draft...”

Ware joins a long list of highly successful college QBs who did not have much of an impact in the NFL. But he sure ran the run and shoot well at Houston.
