This place has gone off the rails. No. We are not leaving the SEC.

Wear was Alleva supposed to do once the SEC left it in Florida's court?

Those of you who think if he got publicly pissed that he was going to win the PR game are nuts. The ONLY people that would have made happy are LSU fans. In a disaster, the public is ALWAYS going to side with the victims or potential victims.

It happened. Water is under the bridge. Let's get back to FOOTBALL!

So. What? Go to the Big 12 were Texas rules the roost 10x more than Bama could even dream of?

Sue and lose? Not that I can even think of a legit suit.

It blows. SEC blew it.

But we were just starting to get excited about football again around here

They rule the conference. I'm not talking wins losses.

They just basically own the conference. What they say goes.

SEC is final determining factor. They decided to allow Fla. to make the decision because it insures that if LSU wins out they could not be SEC west champs but Ala. could even if they lost to LSU. SEC doesn't make any decision that will adversely affect Ala. The SEC needs to go back to rotating the office to ensure all SEC member schools get equal treatment. Anyone who believes the SEC isn't slanted to Ala. is delusional. All the people who work in the offices live in Ala. they go home in Ala. They grew up in Ala. supporting the tide. Rotate the office or put it in a neutral state like OK or Indiana.

He should have hit the media first. Should have stated our position. And he should have stated that neither Greg Sankey nor Jeremy Foley were interested in rescheduling the game from the original location or time. Should have told everyone that we offered anytime on Saturday, Sunday, Monday either in Gainesville or Baton Rouge. And that Jeremy Foley said "No" and that Greg Sankey said nothing.

He let Florida set the narrative and therefore determine the outcome.

After this debacle, I say move their office to Fairbanks Alaska and don't give them internet.
