One the one hand, you've got the morons who saw nothing different Saturday. On the other, you have the people who seem ready to pencil us in for the playoffs.

Ya know, it's OK to say "there was much to like" AND to say, "we haven't seen enough yet".

It seemed for the last 5 years that all you did was bash the program and now you are on here policing anything said negatively about the game Saturday. Why is that?

I'm not calling you out, I'm asking an honest question. It's just such a huge transition.

There's plenty of things that need to be worked on from Saturday. I've no idea what you're talking about.

It's simple really.

Whatever opinion one may have had about Miles, good or bad, they at least had a track record to point to in order to defend their position. The posis thought their view of that record was correct, and so did the negas. BUT.....they each were actually looking at RESULTS on the field over time.

This is O's first year REALLY as the HC and it's Canada's first game as the OC.

Passing judgement after 1 game when you have no prior record of these two here at LSU in these positions is severely premature.

I opposed O's hire but hell, I'm going to wait till he puts some meat on the bone before I start chewing(posi or nega)

I couldn't agree with you more. We saw a lot to enjoy on Saturday, and based off of that one game, it appears that the program may be in the right direction. But it's only one game, and despite a shutout, there was room for improvement, and the jury is still out on how the rest of the season will go.

It probably feels that way to you because for years you ignored the glaring problems our program had and pumped up Les Miles. Others on here had more objective, albeit negative, views.

Because you're not objective, you saw any negativity as negativity for negativity's sake.

Agreed. I'm still cautious regarding the offense...especially when it comes to good SEC defenses

Are you guys actually bashing someone who is now expressing very reasonable thoughts because you didn't like his past views? It's a new era. Miles is distant history. Let's focus on this team and this year. Let's stop rehashing history. It serves no purpose.

Well said ShortyRob. Have an upvote.
