The problem is, JL hasn't really learned anything. With he feels the heat he puts it up for grabs. He has done that several times this year and has been lucky

I am as anti-Jefferson as they come. However, it got obvious that the only way you were going to tire their defense down was to run East-West. It may be the only team we have to do that with this year. However, Miles made the right call. Since he is getting paid to be the coach, I will trust his call (... as if I really had any other choice).

Seriously, there is no way anyone can constructively complain about how Miles is handling this team.

For some reason, JJ seems to have "it" vs. 'Bama. But JL got the Tigers here, and I do not think one bad game should overshadow several other good games.

I think JJ was played bc he was a better "fit" against Bama's defense and hope that Lee will continue as the starter against the remaining non-freak defenses.

I like JJ and he was important on Saturday due to the strange way the game played out, but he will never be the QB that we want him to be.

No, the roles will resume as they did before Alabama.

I agree with this and I hope next week Mett plays at least half the game.

This kid needs reps in live action. I hope he gets a lot in the next two games.

but he had a spooked look about him

You're saying it kindly, but the body of evidence over his career points to the same types of performances against stout defenses bringing heat. He has been getting away with throwing into double/triple coverage in many games this season, even against SEC opponents, and got away with it. Sometimes a QB has to hold the ball a little longer to make the best decision or allow a play to develop and he has never been comfortable doing that in the face of a stout rush. Is what it is, he ain't changing stripes at this point.

For a drop back QB to have a chance beating either Bama or LSU he would have to play on a complete team, with a very good OL, RB's and great skill players on the edge otherwise a dual threat QB will be the better performer.

What would Wing do in this situation???

Are you going to eat your crow on how wrong you are about playing JJ? At least TigerLee did.

Do you really think JJ was the key to the game?

Lulz, you really are a relentless hack.

Anyone who takes your opinion seriously going forward is plainly stupid.

Uh no, the team was the key to the game, from the coaches on down.

Do you really think we win without JJ? Just give it up already. Why can't you give the same credit to JJ as you give Lee?

that's horse crap. Lee threw into double/triple coverage against Bama more than he has throughout the entire year.

By saying that our special teams and defense won us the game...somehow I'm hating on JJ?

I do think the roles will mostly stay the same.

JJ may see some increased duty. Les will play it by the game and go with what's working best.

Both have been contributed this year and will continue to do so. Too much talk about individuals this year, but I get it, this is the Rant. Hope all are not letting this cloud what an awesome year this is and enjoying the ride! I am not saying Go TM7, Go Lee, Go Jefferson etc, I am saying GEAUX L S U!!
