The officiating was horrible. We can all agree on that. And I am not one to say we lost the game because of the officiating. I believe we were not given an opportunity afforded us to score because of the officials. That being said, what makes me mad and what I don't understand is that when LSU has a legitimate gripe the complaints fall on deaf ears. The SEC office, ESPN, the Commish, none of them do a thing. Why do you think this is?

I'm curious. How does ESPN fit into that list?

IMO, too soon to make a judgement on this. The complaint has to go through due process. Then if nothing happens we have a legitimate gripe.

Another post about the refs and how all media outlets hate LSU. :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse: :beatdeadhorse:

We, like our team, are led by our coach. Florida's coach is aggressive and voiced disagreement. His personality parallels that of his coaching demeanor.

Miles, on the other hand, is a nice-guy. You know where nice-guys finish?

If Miles doesn't want to say anything out of fear of fines, reprisal, etc., then Alleva or even Skip need to step up and say something. That crap should not go away with noone from LSU even giving a statement other than the weak shite Miles gave. But, we shouldve never been in the situation. They're giving us the ball back when we are down by 7 with plenty of time and we rush the kicker like that?? That's bush-leauge horse shite.

Hey-I wouldn't fault the young man rushing the punter-he was trying to make a play and was close....

Well, we never block punts(other than Tulane the game before) and regardless, when they are giving us the ball back in that type of situation it is uncalled for. Poor coaching due to the lack of discipline and no consequences for poor decisions.

Well, did you see anyone get on to the guy cause I sure didn't, and Miles just sat there like he always does. He needs to get some fire under his arse or get fired, show some emotion other than jubilation. Players need to be disciplined at times, as well as congratulated, but he does do alot of congratulating.

The shows at ESPN have taken up the mantle somewhat. Yesterday on PTI and Around the Horn both talked about how we were jobbed in that game by the refs and apparently (I didn't see it but there's a thread on the front page right now) that Around the Horn talked about it again today and a couple of the panelists were very concerned about the SEC and the officials. I think Skip Bayless talked about the bad int call yesterday on First Take as well. I think I heard someone say Van Pelt talked about it as well. While we have to lament an official loss on this one, I love it that Alabama fans just have to sit there and take it from the national media - all they've got is the moron Finescum on their side (and even he agrees this was an int) and whomever else they can drum up in Alabama.
