LSU didn't deserve being held up by Miles less three years ago just weeks before NSD. If that was just business so is this.

Then they bitch about the leaks while saying " JA better have his man lined up". Well do you think it's easy to do a preliminary coach search and nobody find out. Les was told after the decision was made. That's the way it should have been.

We all like CLM and thank him for 11 years. Bashing LSU over the handling makes no sense to me.

I don't understand the 20 threads a day on this topic, or the countless others either.

Every person clamoring for him to coach the bowl game doesn't understand how college football, recruiting, and coaching changes work. So just ignore them.

Every person clamoring for Allevas head because he hasn't yet announced to the National Media that Les is fired doesn't understand how business works.

And finally, the people saying that "LSU" as a brand is suffering for this, we were losing recruits long before this fiasco and the recruits I really don't think give a shite. As long as we replace Les with another strong recruiter it won't matter.

They either hate Miles or they love him.
Welcome to the human race.

Because we don't. If you can't see all he has done outside of football games for this program then you are an idiot. Yes Sabam won us a title but Miles made us a household name in this country. People did not talk about LSU. He was constantly invited to ESPN for segments. They enjoyed him. Just watch only stories we see of LSU now are every failure we have without him. Our fans don't deserve him. Take that back the true fans do, the Harvey Updykes of LSU don't. The ones who think cause I go to games and throw a great tailgate makes it to where my opinion matters most. Our fan are sucks. The same ones that brah about piss bombs as if you make the school so proud.

It's called respect and thank you for the good you have done (instead of focusing solely on the negative). You don't understand that either though.

I love these blanket statements that people make. As if they know more than someone else because one side wants him fired and another doesn't. It really is comical....

You mean a recruit who has been leaving for a month and therefore before this "fiasco."

I am not a Miles supporter however; unless Miles wants out or is totally unwilling to make some changes,
i.e
tweak his philosophy
coaching changes

I would not get rid of Miles this year.
a) Too many schools looking for coaches, so either LSU overpays, or they do not get the coach they want...neither a great scenario

b) Too high of a buyout, so I would wait one year and see.

I just do not see this year as being a good business decision.... unless Miles wants to bail out or becomes totally stubborn .. we do need changes, that's obvious.

OMG. I guess we'll just go back to being Tulane after Miles leaves.
