On the topic of the CFP rankings.
He said he feels bad for LSU, because Alabama will be motivated to make a statement after being ranked behind Georgia.

I really want him to eat crow.

If that is honestly their mindset, they will lose on Saturday.

Below are the highlights of Herbie's QB "career":

But obviously what he said motivates LSU a bit...he also picked us to make the CFP that first year Harris was slated to start. We burned him, maybe he's sore. Also we're not a great team. Maybe not even good. Sometimes downright bad.

Herbie has been kind to us through the years...picked us to win good bit more often than we have deserved. He is ok in my book...

Herbie threw me a pass on the parade grounds in 2007 and it was severely underthrown

The guy looks like his face is swollen or going to explode. Dude doesn’t look too healthy lately. He should be more concerned about that.

Its hilarious that he thinks that team needs motivation. I will say this, if they need that shite to get up, we got a chance.

Why do you dislike a guy for giving his opinion. You can disagree with his opinion, but don't have to dislike him. Saban isn't big on the polls and don't get caught up in them, but if he can use it as motivation he will, however; I think they respect LSU enough that he will not need to use their poll ranking as motivation. They are #2 now, if they win out and beat UGA in the SEC title game then they will be #1. So I doubt it really bothers Saban that they are currently ranked #2.

He knows that if they don't beat LSU they will likely drop out of the top 4 so I disagree with Herbstreit, but I don't dislike him. He is probably saying that to drive up the line a few points so he can bet on LSU +24 or something, knowing there will be a lot of running the ball in the game and it will likely be difficult for Bama to get a 20+ something lead.

I know people that gain 25-30 pounds and their face doesn’t swell like that. I feel it could be a health issue.

This has been a big time game for a while now. It's the one all the NFL scouts are tuning in on each year. There's a reason why CBS fights for Lsu Bama prime time. It's lost a little luster but not that much. Still a big game.
