Just cause the adults are in charge

Daniels is putting in the work and looks to be upping his game. They worked a lot on his deep ball.
The o-line will be a strength.
Harold Perkins is spending time at MLB, in an effort to make him a complete linebacker and keep opposing offenses guessing about what he'll do each play as opposed to him lining up on the edge every down. Also, Harold Perkins finna eat the world this fall.
Couple safeties got hurt, but not seriously.

I wanna believe the OL assessment. They got better but let’s not pretend they were great by December/January. Still left a lot to be desired.
I know that it will, look at the talent/growth/coaching, it’s just a matter of when. Hopefully this is THE offseason.

Injuries are the storyline of the spring

It’s baseball season and no one cares

The oline was one of the best in the SEC by the end of the year. Let's not pretend you know ow shite about football. The high tfl and sack numbers were almost completely bolstered by Jayden's propensity to run the football as often as he did.

Here's the takeaway from every spring practice for every team every year:
-everyone is bigger, faster, stronger, better
-coaches are yelling a lot and really demanding exellence
-all players have improved on their weaknesses from last season
-coaches have poured over tape and made perfect gameplans for every mishap last season
-everyone thinks this is shaping up to be a special year
Then the season starts and everyone realizes it was all pre-season hype BS.
Until the next spring when everyone forgets again.

No information is best case scenario. Baws putting in work these days

It’s cause we are a baseball school

It really is, but there has been alot going on at LSU other than on the football field this spring. That's not necessarily a bad thing. The football team is in good hands, had a good season last season, and is expected to take the next step.Spring football has never been a huge thing around here, and I take the lack of news as a good thing.

Hey homie we were a blocked kick away from going 11-3. The adults are in charge now and we've got reason to expect actual improvement from the program. I expect us to go 13-2. Lots of high motor guys. They bring their lunch pain. Really lean, etc.

Well that sure af isn't what went down last year.

When has it not been? I feel like every single preseason since 2000 the o line is always described as a strength.

Was at their practice today. All I can say is from what I saw in person, both Daniels and Nuss looked very good.
Nuss threw 3 beautiful deep balls to WR in stride for TDs when they were scrimmaging. Almost every throw he made was right on the money.

It's so awesome to have our QB room be one of the strongest positions on the team. How have the freshmen rbs looked? Hope Trey Holly shows up and shows out in the spring game

That's what Nuss does. His deep ball is a thing of beauty. The good thing about that is when there is a busted coverage or someone gets open deep, it'll end up being a track meet to the end zone. With him, I'm more worried about him taking what the defense gives him on the other plays. I expect him to give us many flashes of Joey B in 2024.

Honestly we are distracted for a change. Lady Tigers Title run and Baseball is pulling the attention.
Recruiting is still getting some noise though.
