Went to this game in undergrad, baw. Been to UGA a few times, fun folks.

Anyway, what exactly was John Chavis thinking? After 2012 Clemson that guy went full clown car. Unreal watching Georgia do literally whatever it wants with what was honestly a decent defense.

To add we’d have scored 55 without Cameron and les miles we kinda did the exact same thing.

Amazing how les could randomly bag elite assistants mixed with Chavis, cam, and brick Haley wasting the line. shite Peveto might be on this staff

So frustrating that the offense improved while the defense regressed to such a degree. Maybe if Reid and Simon hadn’t quit after the 3rd quarter of the Clemson game…

But if OBJ just holds on to the fricking ball we win UF 2012 and UGA 2013.

DJ Welter at MLB was always a head scratcher

I get that Beckwith was a freshman, so maybe he wasn't ready

But not moving Kwon to MLB (the position he immediately played in the NFL) and letting Deion Jones start on the outside will never make sense to me

Just another shining example as to why Les Miles has to go down in history as one of the most stubborn creatures of all time

Barrow shoulda been Mike on that 2013 team with Kwon and Debo at OLB. Kwon was a bit too light at that point IMO.

And Welter was better than people have him credit for in 2013, at least as the season went on. He regressed in early 2014 though.

That 2013 secondary had some bad communication issues as well.

Overall, Chavis was a very good DC for LSU.

That was a very good football game, but man that was a frustrating arse game. Was really the first time I ever saw our defense play so piss poor. Wasn’t used to that at all. It was like watching a Big 12 game.

I always wondered in LSU beats UF in 2012 does LSU get the rematch with Alabama like they did the year before?

It’s insane to think how many solid/great defensive NFL players were on the 2013 team yet it sucked and sucked through most of 2014 as well.

Jalen Mills
Tre’Davious White
Rashard Robinson
Danielle Hunter
Kwon Alexander
Deion Jones
Duke Riley

Then in 2014 you add

Jamal Adams
Davon Godchaux

I’m still pissed at the SEC for changing the schedule rotation and sending us to UGA on a random one-off when it should have been Bama’s year to travel to Athens under the old rotation. Bama played @ UK instead.

Y'all had all the momentum until Odell Beckham fumbled a punt. It was an exciting game, for sure.

Disappointing loss, but was a highly entertaining game. My only trip to Athens for a road game, and we had a blast. Wish we played there more frequently, but with conference expansion, I doubt I’ll have too many more opportunities to see the Tigers play there.

Both teams were ranked high compared to where they ended the 2013 season, reminds me of LSU Auburn 2008. besides LSU actually winning the game.

I was at that game. It was an exciting "shoot out," but the lasting memory is of players in our secondary that had no idea what they were doing. It looked like mass confusion. And then there was OBJ's muffed punt.

Two true freshmen corners struggled in their first real road game against a veteran senior Aaron Murray.

That defense was infuriating that year, especially compared to recent years and considering how good the offense finally was.

My freshman year was 08 and it was pretty bad in spots that year too. Didn't help that Lee threw a bunch of pick sixes but even removing those our defense got lit up by Ole Miss, UF, UGA, first half against Troy, 2nd half against Arkansas.

2008 UF is still the only SEC road trip I've ever taken and I had to be subjected to that abomination of a game in trashy arse Gaineville with all their trashy arse fans. I want to go to all the other SEC stadiums at least once in my life but you'll never catch me in Gainesville ever again.
