Just be patient and stfu.

No I refuse to close my eyes and open my mouth like Alleva wants all of us to do, and just swallow the shite he is about to feed us all the while telling us it is a spoon full of sugar!

It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out this is about to be a shite show. There are way to many quality programs looking for HC's this year with not that many qualified candidates "the kind LSU wants to hire" to fill all the job openings. You guys smoking those crack pipes thinking that Fisher is coming here, literally don't have the God given sense to get out of the rain. You don't have to look past Miles or Saban to figure out how this is going to work out. Fisher is going to be as ambivalent as possible and say the right things to make sure that FSU knows that if they don't pay up they are going to lose him, even if that is not the case. Fisher deserves a raise, just like Saban did "Texas" and just like Miles did when the Michigan rumors were flying around. Fisher isn't going anywhere, his program is of national relevance, they recruit nationally, have one of the top states in the nation for recruits and the path to the play-offs and Naty are much easier in the ACC then in the SEC west. Getting to the play-offs and to a National title game is hard enough, why in the hell would you want to make it harder on yourself? Makes zero sense.

1. FSU is a top 10 ranked National program
2. Getting to play-offs and Naty is easier through the ACC than SEC
3. FSU will pay whatever anyone else offers to pay Fisher
4. Bobby Bowden will definitely weigh in with Fisher to keep him at FSU
5. Going from FSU to LSU is not a step up, no matter what we want to think it is on par.
6. Sexton has done this many times playing one university against the other to get his client paid! You can better believe he is going to do it again.

Fisher isn't coming just like Miles didn't go to Michigan when everyone thought he was gone including Kirk Herbstreit, that is how this agent work they float that rumor in the right direction and the admin working real fast. Do I want Fisher, HELL YES!!!!! But the odds of that happening are so remote people in hell have a better chance of getting ice water!

The real question is, who is the back up plan and how realistic is it. If Kelly comes back he is going to USC if they have him. And if Gruden's name gets thrown around one more time I am going to puke, he ain't leaving the booth he loves it too much, he loves to hear himself talk. No way no how!

Apex, if a decision was made to cut ties with Miles post 1/9/12, why did LSU give him an extension?

because all of this speculation is bullshite...Hindsight is 20/20 people are talking like they knew this plan all along.

With a new coach, we the fans become optimistic again and are more likely to spend much more money on LSU football. How many people is that over a four year period? Not sure, but the AD and TAF know how many people equals $15M in incremental profit. It isn't ideal, but from a business perspective you have to make a move. I won't be going to Lambeau next year if Les is the coach to watch Harris turn around and pitch the ball to Fournette. However if Dan Mullen is the coach, I plan to spend a lot of money to be there

not just a 1 way street. I am an 18 year season ticket holder of multiple seats, and if they fire Les, I don't think I will renew. I wont be alone. I grasp the concept that somebody will gladly take all of my seats, but that doesn't mean it is a net gain. I don't like to speak in definitive terms, as they back you in a corner, but the % of me going to Lambeau next year is much lower if Mullen is our coach as opposed to Les. How they handle his departure (inevitable at this point in my opinion) will be a big factor if I continue to spend the multiple thousands of dollars to support the program each year in the future.
