I actually feel pretty good about this game

The OL is playing great and actually has learned how to pass protect. Tip of the hat to Grimes.
We have the best RB and back up RBs in the country bar none.
Harris continues to develop. He has the arm to put the ball on receivers before the DB can react. He's making good decisions with the ball and has the mobility to use his feet. Pocket presence, timing and working progressions still needs work, but he's getting better each week.
Dupre is a stud and Dural and Co. are getting better with routes and concentration.
The DL has been pretty stout against the run and we have better LB play vs the last 2 years. QB pressure is better than the past, but still needs to be more consistent.
We have the talent at DB if they play more consistent. I suspect that gets cleaned up in the off week.
ST just needs to play average and not give up big plays. That's not asking much.
I think we match up well with Bama. It's strength on strength. Power run games vs good run D. The wild card is ST and Harris' play. If ST doesn't blow it and Harris avoids mistakes and gets some plays with his feet I think we win. I see it being another 4th qtr finish either way.

I'm concerned because our last road SEC trip was the first game of the year.

I think Bama is the better team. I think LSU wins. Bama's D makes them the better team.

I do as well. While I do think Bama's D is better, they haven't faced an offense like LSU yet. I think we win this game and the streak ends.

We have a great Defense as well, and have much more than them on offense, making your judgment null and void. Go troll somewhere else.

I'm guzzling the Kool aid. I don't care if I'm dead wrong. More fun being optimistic. Like our QB, awesome RBs, best player in football and Bama hasn't looked all world against the likes of Arkansas and Tennessee. So I like our chances.

I feel great about this game. They haven't seen anyone like us yet. Going to be a tough one but if we play a good game we will beat them.

OP is right. There is a lot to feel pretty good about. One big, one in my opinion, is t/o margin. LSU is +1 while Bama is +.38 on the season. We also have a consistent place kicker. Another plus.
There are also a few things to NOT feel good about, such as special team coverage and penalties.
The Bama game will be won or lost with field position. Field position will bet determined by special teams, penalties, and turn overs. I hope Miles and Co are really focusing on kick/punt coverage and kickers/punters in general.

To add to this:
2. Special teams
3. Conservative playcalling with a lead and playing not to lose
4. Secondary getting lazy with a lead
I can easily see us jumping out to a 14-0 lead and that lead diminishing before the game is over. Nick Saban coached teams don't go away. I just hope if we start out fast, we stay aggressive. I'm 55-45 in us winning this game.

So, you think a two loss Bama is better than an undefeated LSU that beat Bama head-to-head? Makes perfect sense for the Rant.

Oversimplification here, but I think the biggest difference between the two over the past 5 years or so was at QB.
Literally for the first time during this period, LSU has the upper hand at that position. Combine this with a clear leg up at PK (pun intended) and that alone should negate the home field advantage.
Worried most about Jamie Keehn, because you know this game will involve multiple punts and field position will be critical throughout.

When is the last time that Les coaches a super conservative game against Alabama? I will hang up and listen

You thought I was trolling? Big Ha!
I thought LSU would win even with Bama being the better team. Clearly I was right; Bama is the better team. More elite players. Elite coach.
