Hypothetical: What would your expectations be for LSU in a Saban-less SEC?

Since NFL smoke is wafting around T-Town again, and even if he doesn't jump, he's closer to the end of his tenure there than the beginning. Would any year in which LSU doesn't reach the SECCG be an underachievement?

They have swung and missed more often than not with their post-Bear hires.

Please let them promote Lane Kiffin. He would destroy that program with the quickness.

Saban will retire there, and I don't see it happening for another 5 years or so.

Yeah I think our last hope was Texas last year but shite face Mack brown threw a tantrum to make sure that didn't happen.

CUM would have 1 more championship but he would still have gotten heartburn in the 2010 season and bailed. That team had nothing after Tebow left

10 aub
11 bcs champs
12 west champs
13 aub
14 sucked
15 west champs

Most likely 3 more trips to Atlanta no telling anything after that.

We were real close to being in the mix on that one.

Pretty much 1 freakish Cam Newton run away from it.

I don't think much changes with fan expectations if Saban retires. There will always be an excuse for Miles not getting it done and those fans will just come up with a new one.

I love it - can't beat him - he wants total control or he will not take another NFL job - billionaires tend to get what they want - Bye Nick -

I wish Nick would take Les to be his Oline coach

LSU and the SEC would not be who they are without coaches like Saban.

Do you think someone as content as Miles would have made the changes in the coaching staff that he's made the last 7 years without Saban being so dominant.

We have one of the best recruiting staff's in college football and whether people want to admit it are not its a direct result of the Saban success.

Sad when you gotta hope for a coach to quit or leave to feel like you have a chance to win anything. Maybe the problem isn't Saban coaching Alabama
