Are we on the way back? Were we just a pretender? One of the strongest claims we have is that our bad years over the last 15 years have still been pretty good. I would have taken one loss at this point in the season, without hesitation. Win 2 of the next three and it's still a great season. Win all three and it's an incredible season. The lack of depth in the front 7 not something we can get around when it comes to matching up with Bama. To beat everyone else would be a huge success. Recruiting is on the up swing. I know for a fact that Coach O knows that the d-line is good, but nowhere near dominant. He is on a mission. Right now we have to deal with the fact that Bama circles us on the schedule and is not going to have a let-up against us. We will have to be more dominant up front to stop the streak. Still, I think we should feel good in comparison to other SEC teams. Just need to finish strong.

Convince me why I should expect LSU to beat Arkansas. Ole Miss?

Both will be tough, but if we get beat by both there will be meltdowns. I think we should beat Arkansas, but OM on the road would be a great win.

Arkansas D is ranked 14th in the sec. They are pretty bad. The game will be close because of their offense, but if LSU cant move the ball against Arkansas, then they have serious problems.

Of course this is the one game the whole fricking year they decide to play... always is.

I still think we win, just saying though...

Ole Miss is mediocre unless they win the turnover battle 5-0. Also, they lost to Florida by four touchdowns.

I'm mostly concerned about them since it's on the road for us, and they have a bye week this week.

Yeah I was worried about ole miss early in the season. not any more, they arent a good team. Arkansas though has become way more balanced on offense and Allen is playing lights out. Their defense is terrible though.

Because they are better. Because LSU is favored to beat Arkansas at home.. and Ole Miss has already lost 3 games..

Really huge and I am hope we can will all three. When I think about our win over Miss State, we dominated but if they had a field goal kicker we would have lost. We played really good against Florida but we won on a trick play. If we are going to win out, we really need to be less predictable and not sit on a lead. We can do this..

Definitely huge. And here I go again with the sunshine pumping (can't help myself):

Tigers have something to prove and the D will handle the hogs. Allen will not look near as good as he has lately.
LF, Guice, and Harris will all have great games behind that (still strong) O line. Over 400 yds offense.

I believe.

They're huge for many reasons, could help LSU into the playoffs, could help LSU sign some more 5 star recruits, which could help LSU defeat Bama, and could put a lot of LSU fans more at ease.

vs Arkansas
harris will be unleashed.
34 for 42 to 6 different receivers, for 395 and 4 tds.
quinn scores 2 times from the slot.

38-17 LSU.

LSU beats Ole Miss 50-48 in 3 OT. Ole Miss fails on 2 pt conversion.
Bama makes 4 turnovers in the red zone. Dak beats them 31-24.

Brandon Harris has to play better. He was unable to move the team down the field in 2nd half against 'Bama. He plays better the Tigers win out. It's that simple - assuming everyone else does their part.....

I would hope we get a little more creative on offense. The play calling seemed timid against bama. Let er Rip!
