If LSU could have scored more points against Clemson than than they did on LSU, then I say LSU would have won.

You guys have an inflated sense of your team, it's pretty funny.
You lost to Florida at home. And unlike the auburn loss, you can't blame Les Miles.
The LSU defense is at worst third best in the country, so they would keep the team in any game. But Clemson wins this match-up.

He was making a point about how stupid the "if LSU can't beat Florida" post was.

Dude don't pose this question to these ridiculous homers. We beat Lamar Jackson who has no offensive talent outside himself and Quick. They think we shut everybody down.

Deshaun Watson is a legit pass first QB that will be a first round draft pick with a slew of WRs and TEs that will go in the top 3 rounds of the draft over the next 2 years as well as the RB. They also have a talented OL and runs a power spread.

Their defense is good too (especially their front) and our passing game was mediocre and our run game consisted of Guice.

LSU would have been beaten by 10 or more.

Our defense would've been worn down just like it was in 2012 Peach Bowl.

LSU was flat-ish for that game and T Boyd had an out-of-body game. LSU was the better team.

[2012 Peach Bowl]

Not to mention that Miles threw incompletions in LSU's last possession to give Clemson a chance at the game-wining drive.

Since this is hypothetical, lacoutre and lf7 get to play.
Lsu edges badgers as fg goes wide.
Lsu edges aubie, as lsu wr goes out of bounds with 3 seconds left, not 1. Td counts.
Et cetera.

We presume lsu was 11-1, with one loss, to bama.

Lsu is 3 seed. Beats clem, 24-20.

Lsu loses again to bama. Lf7 scores twice. Bama goes for two. 15-14.

Ridiculous to think that LSU would have beaten Clemson. LSU was 1 and 4 against ranked teams. The only ranked team they beat, Louisville, was a shadow of the team they were earlier in the year. They lost to Kentucky in their last game at home. LSU would have been beaten soundly by Clemson.
