Bama would have lost Turner for the 4th qtr but Daniels wasn’t coming back?

It wouldn't have changed the outcome. It's just annoying that rules don't seem to apply to them.

This. That a-hole has knocked two QBs out and Ewers missed a few weeks and was never the same after the injury last season. Who knows if Daniels will be back or not. The SEC should give a frick about that, but instead, they treat him like he’s Nick fricking Farley.

It’s really about fairness and principle.

It wouldn’t have, but the principle about it is the issue. You are allowing Bama players to tee off against our guys with no worry.

That invites more bad hits like that because they arnt concerned about getting in trouble.

One thing is for certain, nothing will change if he keeps getting away with it.

It wouldn't have changed the outcome. They have more talent on defense and an almost equally talented QB. BK is in his 2nd year Saban his 20th. Once BK gets the talent we will see how goos BK is. I personally think we hit a homerun with BK.

Do yourself a favor ignore these "coaches" here that would gut this coaching staff after ever loss. They are self righteous fools who ruin college programs.

Exactly. Like I was telling a friend earlier. I dont hate Bama. Actually respect them a great deal. My dislike for them and their fans is rooted in the bias from the SEC and the rules not applying to them. As witnessed last night in the non targeting call and horse collar. Its acceptable to lose to a better team and make no mistake they are the better team, but its another to feel like you are held to a different set of principles that dont apply to Alabama. That was the third time Dallas Turner has attempted to hurt a qb of another team with a cheap shot. (Ewers Dart and Daniels) What if (God forbid) in the SEC championship game he does it to Beck and an ambulance is brought in to take Beck off the field, how would the SEC feel then knowing they allowed for this behavior to take place.

Momentum changes with a targeting call. Plus 1st down

This is right. The non-called horse collar still resulted in Lacy's TD also.

We also are at risk for losing JD next week, maybe more.
Turner has every incentive to continue head hunting…

Ejecting Turner for targeting would not have changed the outcome of the game.

It just really sucks to lose a player to an injury that happened as a result of an illegal play. It was flagged for roughing the passer. It almost seems that if you injure a player and it is directly attributable to your actions in committing a penalty, you should have to sit out until the injured player is able to return to the game.

Our punishment was so much worse for that play than it was for Alabama, who was the perpetrator.

The personal foul penalty did give LSU a first down. Did you not watch the game? I seriously doubt Turner being ejected swings the momentum to LSU.

I think it would have changed the final score but not the outcome.

Not likely to change the outcome.

He still should be kicked and suspended for being a dirty piece of shite.

Honestly more disappointed that none of our line men even got in his face. They let him cheap shot our qb

I don't think anybody thinks the outcome would've changed.
It is the principle and the inconsistency of the refs. It's not only that call but the horse collar call that wasn't called for JD5 but was called for Milroe.

Game was over after they stopped LSU and scored in 3rd qtr. We didn't hold serve and this game was going to be won by the defense that could make a stop.
