How we've rationalized failure since 2011

- 1/9 was unfair. Shouldn't have to play Bama twice

- In 2012, breaking in young QB. Lost our defensive starters. Young receivers dropping too many balls. It's ok, they'll mature next year.

- In 2013. OBJ, Landry, Hill and Mett and still lost 3 games. The defense you know.

- In 2014. Woah, young QB again. Young receivers. Time to temper expectations again.

- In 2015. Ok, ok. Young QB again but this is the last time. Oh and we're young on defense. Gotta take those lumps.

Just feels like a trend of excuses. We've lost 2 cycles and I can't rationalize this failure any longer.

we recruit well, we should have similar consistency to alabama when it comes to replacing players, yet we've continuously stumble, i'd call us the "georgia of the west"

Do we recruit that well? Our guys look smaller, slower and outmatched.

1/9 broke our spirit and we will never get back. We get manhandled in bowl games now and every season from BAMA on we implode but next year will be different

We recruit good at skill levels but our dline is small and wasnt started to get bigger till last year. Sucks because takes 2 or 3 years to fix that frick up

1/9 is the oldest excuse in the book. An elite coach looks at that game, learns from it and moves on. Letting it dwell is not anyone else's fault but our own.

It was placed on life support. Before last night it had some signs of life. Last night it returned to moments where pulling the plug could be necessary.

Only excuse in the cycle you're missing is us getting a new offensive coordinator again every three years, expecting something to change and be different following.

I left the coaching carousel out of the picture. But you're right.
