the best part about your post is that it is directly after OP asking you to be safe.

The family and I enjoyed it. Fantastic weather. Fans that sat around us were cool. Whomever told us to park across the street from the stadium was clutch. It was easy to get back on to 49 North going left out of that strip center behind the rightfield wall. We will be back in two years.

man, you very well could be describing a LOT of LSU fans (and some fans of every competitive team in the country, football, basketball or baseball). cut 'em some slack; arky was primed for this series, both team and fans. they desparately wanted to beat LSU.

Agree, stadium looked absolutely jam packed, and I think announcers said it was the 2nd largest crowd ever. Maybe broke attendance record of a super regional?

Moscona spent an hour Friday talking to listeners about how Hog fans hate LSU and get so jacked up to play us, but it's a one-way rivalry. LSU fans could care less about them.

I get this as AR no longer has Texas to hate on, but the odd thing about that was that Texas never gave them much concern. They were 3rd to OU and A&M as far as a rivalry for Texas. And that chapped Hog fans. But what is ironic is us taking that attitude with them. We act like Bama/Ole Miss/Auburn are our big rivals, and we don't give a damn about the Hogs. But those three teams do not consider us their biggest rival. So basically, we are really in the same boat as Arkansas.

I live up here now and I had a great time. I was at the Saturday and Sunday games and I thought the fans were great. Don't judge the entire fan base because of a few fans who complained about the umps. We have our fair share of those fans as well. I did get a chance to meet Poche's Dad who seemed like a really nice guy.

This is probably true since the 90's but from the 60's-80's it definitely wasn't one sided. I've been on Orangebloods after we get a recruit from them and the older fans talk about how much they used to hate us.

Usually another tough sec division rival. I don't consider LSU or any other school as an Arkansas rival.

The def of rival is a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity.

So now we got that out of the way. Everyone in the sec is a rival. Every school is competing against each other to win the conference.

So by definition, Arkansas and LSU are rivals.

Umm LSU fans are notorious for crying about officiating in general.

So what you are saying is Texas fans get upset these days when the Hogs poach 2 and 3 star players from them?

Well he aint wrong.

The fans cried about calls that werent even close. Alex Box will moan but only on close calls because LSU baseball fans are fairly baseball savvy(despite the Rant) not backwoods retards(home of WhaleMart).

Even through the TV I got the sense that R-Kansas fans are the type to cheer when an opposing player gets injured. I think I heard some laughter when Freeman got plunked in the head. One guys immediate reaction was to get mad and throw his hat in the air. No regard for a young man getting pegged in the bean with a 90 mph hardball.

To further support my point. Anyone heard that obnoxious cackling hyena in the stands? How many special ed students you think that guy beat up in middle school?

I need to check off Fayetteville.

What's the best way from Baton Rouge? Was in Shreveport for work and thought about making the drive Friday, but still a haul from there.
