I lived in Shanghai for like 4 years working on my undergraduate degree, and as far as I can tell, most of the youngsters in Shanghai can speak standard Mandarin if they realize that you are not local, with some of them being able to speak okay English. To answer the question, I believe you can find access to CBS and ESPN in some of the bars whose customers are mostly foreigners.

If you can access ESPN.com over there, you should be able to watch it on the website. Or bring an Xbox 360. If not, you are probably SOL

Last year I watched a couple CBS games from cbssports.com. Quality was good.

Honestly, you have to get a VPN located out of the country or based in Hong Kong.

ETA: If it is not on TV & blocked on the interwebz

It will already be Sunday November 4th in China when the game is played, so email me the winner of the game so you and I can make a fortune betting on a sure thing.

I will be in Beijing, and I doubt Bars will be open at 8AM on Sunday (like someone else already stated) to show the game. I'll most likely have to catch it at an American hotel, but what is the likelihood that they will have CBS? People keep saying that I can watch it on ESPN3 or WatchESPN, but if this is a CBS game, that's not possible, right?
