If he would have wrote off 2017 as we need to develop the young guys the other half of the fan base that u aren’t a part of would have turned on him. Then he would have no supporters.

I really don’t care about their feelings. I want a good quarterback to lead LSU.
If it’s Burrows, good.
If it’s any of the other three, great.
But I’m not going to send a competitor away. We can’t sit around and wait for a QB. That’s all we ever do. All four need to be challenged and step up to lead the Tigers.

Who cares how they feel?
I’m at as much and anti-O guy as anyone, but if he doesn’t think any of these 3 QBs have what it takes to win and he can get a guy who might be better, then he’d be crazy not to try and get that guy.
If the other 3 don’t like it then they can step up their game and get better.

They ought to feel like they better get off their asses and make it happen on the the football field, so they can separate themselves as the bonafide starter taking reps going into the season. If they don't want to compete for the job, leave. It speaks volumes.

Brennan probably wishes he redshirted since played like 50 snaps in a fired OCs offense has given him no leg up on the competition and if he loses out to barrows or McMillan he will have 1 year of elligability left when they leave.

I sure did, and it's true. What is the offense identity? Which style of play is the offense suited for? JM and LN have totally different styles of play. If JB comes here, then everything SE said about going to a spread was a lie. JB is not at OSU right now because he could do what the other two could do..........mobility!
All three should leave immediately! JM and JB both have two years. MB has three and LN has 4. I think it's going to be a little crowed in the QB room.

I would choose a QB identified and signed by Urban Meyer out of high school to QB my offense all day every day over ANY QB identified and signed out of high school by Les Miles and/or Cam Cameron.
