How much impact would a new HC/OC have on our QBs next year?

How much of an improvement do you think we could realistically get in one offseason from a new HC/OC? Will Brandon Harris be the next Deshaun Watson? Will Danny Etling be the next Zach Mettenberger? Or will it be one of the younger guys that take the lead?

I don't agree with the Brandon Harris comparison. More like Chad Kelly for BH.
Etling more like Jake Coker.

This is all realistic.

Herman is a qb guru if that answers your question

One of the young guns. They are our only hope. Harris and Etling are not the answer. They both will be seniors next year with no promise of being better.

If herman or chip are the coach id want Lindsey Scott or mannie netherly(he plays qb & arm looks good enuf to run their offense).

Etling wouldn't turn into Peyton Manning, but Jimbo could turn him into a pretty good QB. Etling wouldn't thrive in Herman's system, and if Herman is hired, I doubt you see his full offense installed until year two.

If you can get a play maker QB it will have a huge impact because QB is the most important position in offense. If you want a good OL you need to recruit better. If you against NFL caliber DLs with current LSU OL layers the impact of coaching is minimal.

True the OL must get better but LSU will hire a HC or OC with the ability to upgrade the QB position. The names mentioned for coaching changes would be a huge impact compared to what LSU had the last six years.
