Hitting this year reminds me of precannizaro era.

As long as PM keeps recruiting Billy Ball Midgets nothing's going to change.

Hitting isn't bad.

Our offense is terrible...situational hitting, baserunning, etc.

Cannys team is doing just as terrible if not worse with a ton of returning players.

It's the offensive philosophy that blows. Mainieri recruits a team full of him instead of big fast and strong.

So much that he should have been promoted and Maneri should have been told if you want a raise because of a Texas offer there is the door.

I was thinking the same thing. our hitting has gotten worse as the year progresses.

Deichmann's not big, fast, or strong? Romero is big and strong. Slaughter is big and athletic.

I miss the stolen bases the most. We could have used a couple tonight in a close game.

PAul pulled a les miles. Promoted Cain and Gibbs when should have hired a proven commodity. They may turn out great but I don't think Cain did well last year. Jury is out on Gibbs

Cannizaro as LSU hitting coach and Cannizaro as MSU head coach are not a valid basis for comparison.

Gibbs has no place being a hitting coach at a place like LSU. What a lazy hire

The point the guy was making is go look at out last NC team(Smokes guys). The teams since then don't really compare size wise.(top to bottom) Look it up. No doubt the ones you named are big and strong but the rest, not so much.

State has 2 decent returning hitters. Cannys team struck out 18 times and was shut out 1-0 in the Fri game against Oregon. Struck out 40(18-9-13)times in the 3 game series.

Cohen didn't leave him much to work with and 6 pitchers are out with season ending injuries.
