how many steps would you say our punter takes before punting it

looked like 6 or so yesterday. the Whisky punter took 2.
do you think our Aussie has had any instruction? he's gonna be eating that football more than once this year.

He'll lose a leg if he keeps this up. Eating the football is the least of his worries at that point.

The fast SEC teams will be blocking that shite. However, if the punts are as bad as they were yesterday, there won't be much difference between the blocked ones and the ones we get off.

Wisconsin wasnt even rushing the kicks. They were so worried about the fake.
Our punting strategy is to hold it until they make you kick it.
Unfortunately you don't have to hold it long to cover a 20 yard punt that goes OOB.

At this point, i'd rather just go for it on fouth downs, regardless of field position.

I said two years ago (and got blasted), let's quit getting these frickin Aussie punters with their end over end punting style. Physics doesn't allow those balls to travel the required distance, and there's little margin for error when you kick the point of the ball. The Wisky punter kicked a high spiral and they dusted our arses in the punting game.
