too much is made of Les' game management issues- imo a lot of it falls on the the qb

You are going to blame a 19 year old kid who gets his instructions from a 3.7 million dollar a year coach. Its the QBs fault when he dosnt excute the play, but in the case of the Tenn and Ole Miss game you can only blame the coach. Im sure there are more then those two instantaces, but those are the ones that jump out.

I don't think the losses in 07 were coaching

that was us not being able to stop McFadden and just an overall team letdown vs. Kentucky

I don't remember them all but off the top of my head...

UT '05 (just let off the gas...but you could also argue that the team was just exhausted from what had been going on)

UK '07

a few in '08 (i've kinda wiped that season out of my memory)

Ole Miss '09

Auburn '10 - maybe (Some say Chavis didn't have a good game plan...others say the players didn't execute like they should have)

I. Gave a pass in 08 because of the QB situation.

i can see this...having to start a 3rd and 4th string QB can't help things.

How much should a coach make? You have your panties in a wad over Miles' salary, so how much is right?
Not more than you obviously, but exactly how much?

05

Tennessee - yes.
Georgia - no, we just got whooped.

06

Auburn - yes, I'm blaming him.
Florida - no, repeated bad luck. Les had them ready.

07

Kentucky - yes
Arkansas - yes

08

Florida - no, again we just got whooped
Georgia - no, Les didn't throw all those picks
Alabama - no, Les had them pumped up to play
Ole Miss - yes, inexcusable to get pounded by the Rebs
Arkansas - yes

09

Florida - yes, we had a terrible offensive gameplan
Alabama - no, JJ + CS getting hurt cost us the game
Ole Miss - yes
Penn State - yes

10

Auburn - not really
Arkansas - not really, more Hatcher's fault

I count 9.

Rahim Alem

If you blame Hatcher in the 2010 season, then Rahim Alem deserves WAY more of a blame for what he fricking did twice in 08 against Arkansas.

Ole Miss '08

we were thoroughly dominated on both sides of the ball by a 6-4 team. We weren't prepared for the wildcat and played with no passion whatsoever

You can't put all the losses on the coach's head. All he can do is prepare the team. The team has to actually go out there and execute.

We were 7-3 entering the game

Not a huge difference there.

That was the 2nd time that year that our running game was shut down.

It definitely took a QB change for this team to even compete in this game.

Dumb post; brings all the negative Nancies out of the woods. Why even tempt them?

Look at some of these posts man. It's hilarious. The wrong players recruited for the position? QB situation squarely on the shoulder of Miles? Gimme a break. Our coach is an amazing recruiter, yet is bashed for his recruiting. Our coach has an insane win pct., yet he's bashed for his losses. You feel like you know more than our coach when you're sitting in the stands because you play NCAA '11 on Dynasty Mode? GTFO you're an idiot. Game management is more than X's and O's and a clock. Recruiting is more than courting all the blue chips. We don't know shite about it. If we did, we'd be making 3.7 million a year.

Sit down, shut up, and ALLOW YOURSELF to ENJOY the Golden Age of LSU football. Geezus you whiney bastards make me ill.

The right QB for the 1st, and someone besides Hatcher on the 2nd and these 2 are wins

Like it or not, that one was due to exhaustion, not coaching.

coaches did not take the wrong routes to the WR in the ARK game.

ALso, UK was good, they were undefeated at that time. UK was not a coaching error. UK had a good team.

Ark had a premier RB.

Dont you understand, both teams are trying to win.
