How long of a leash is Miles supposed to have?

His termination would be because of the huge downward turn this program has taken the last two years. Any employee would get terminated if they didn't produce over a stretch of time no matter how productive they were in the past. Big time college football coaches know and expect this more than anybody. Very few get to retire and ride off in the sunset, getting fired is pretty much inevetiabl.

He is incompetent and people don't like him, thus fired.

His philosophy doesn't work anymore and he refuses to change. He can no longer compete with the sec west.
