I'm wondering how long before they quit. Wonder how many transfer at end of season (even if they have to wait a year to play elsewhere) and then players start getting into trouble off the field.

anyone who has given up should not be allowed to play.

The only thing keeping us from pulling from the student section to field a team is that year that players have to sit out if they transfer. Otherwise we'd be (more) fricked

They would have to start something to actually quit.

Need to get Zig Ziglar in there now!

...You don't have to be great at something to start, but you have to start to be great at something.

...People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing - that's why we recommend it daily.

Most of the ones I've seen quit after the first time they get hit.

I agree in theory, but it's human nature for effort and intensity to fade when you have no faith in your coaches.

That's what "quitting" really means. The players want to play hard and win, but when they've lost faith in their coaches, the intensity just isn't there.

We all feel it now as fans, and I suspect the players feel the same way too.

Some are playing for the NFL draft. Hope they see their draft position is falling rapidly.
