in a year's time??

Last year he played pretty decent and one would think to expect at the very least the same type of results this season.

Why do you think he has regressed to the point he's now damn near the worse QB in college football?

do we have a QB coach?

if it's GC, then there's your answer. When has crowton ever successfully developed a QB?

Or how the hell doe he keep starting and taking most of the snaps? Dooley this week is making a QB change and starting Tyler Bray.

coaches have more game film on him, and the lack of proper QB coaching

I disagree with this. He wasn't great, but concidering we had no line and very little running game, and he was a trus sophomore in his first year starting he played pretty well.

Remember, his efficiency rating last year was not at all bad.

This year hoever is a different story entirely.

The fact that he has regressed this much can only be the result of poor coaching.

I think it could be competition. Last year, JJ knew he was going to be starting regardless. This year, people were calling for JL. This makes JJ think he has to do more causing him to throw more int and causing more fumbles

How does the QB regress - lack of coaching. There's no other reason.

By throwing interceptions,..getting his dick knocked in the dirt....NOW he is more worried about the rush, afraid of getting hit again,..and he is not looking downfield for OPEN receivers,..and when he does throw, his passes are off target....

especially after it looked like the UNC game was about on par with where he left off last yr.

I think he had a horrible day throwing the ball vs. Vandy (which is saying something since he's not all that accurate on a good day), and has just slumped mentally since then.

remember how even though Lee would throw an INT a game back in 08 he'd still complete about 60% of his throws and lead us on some drives? then UGA happened and it looked like it was all getting to him and he started slumping to complete easy passes. then Bama happened and it seemed like the wheels came off? that's where JJ is, except he hasn't had that Lee vs. Troy 2nd half bounce back yet. not sure he will this yr.

If we had a decent QB coach/ OC, Jarrett Lee might've developed into a pretty good QB. We certainly saw flashes of potential.

I personally don't believe that JJ even enjoys playing football anymore. I bet he cannot wait until football season is over. If you don't enjoy something, it is hard to be good at it.

I wonder if it all goes back to the Ole Miss game. At least initially, Jefferson was blamed when it wasn't his fault. That's my theory as to why Miles may feel like he has to keep him as starter to make up for it.
