How in the HELL do we lose to Auburn with TWO first team ALL-

One of those All SEC players couldn't make free throws.

Let me spell it out for you. 19 missed FT's. 17 TO's. To dumb to not understand how important it was to foul and not let Harrell jack up a 3. In closing try and score with in the last oh 9 minutes of regulation and OT.

starters playing 43 minutes
up by 3 at the end and don't foul, letting auburn sink a 3 and tie it up
gray coming off the bench to turn the ball over 5 times and miss layups
mickey with 1 point and fouled out
lots of reasons for that loss

Unforced turnovers all year, bad free throw shooting all year, can't make easy lay ups , they miss at least 5 per game .

If you look at the odds (not the spread) of any game, the team expected to lose ALWAYS has a chance.
Make free throws, LSU wins easily.
Who is the free throw coach on the coaching staff? Everyone knows the names of all the football coaches and what their specialities are. Who is the free throw coach?
1. If there is none with that specific responsibility, hire me for next season. There are off season workouts. I would make sure they can actually hit on 80% during practice. (stress of games is different of course). Do you notice that girls college basketball teams often have a better FT percentage than the more athletic boys at the same college? That's because they practice FTs and are coached to do it. They don't waste their official practice time practicing reverse dunking.
2. If someone has the responsibility to teach FT shooting on the LSU staff fire him now and put the ad up while guys are moving around during the NCAA tournament.
Make free throws, LSU wins easily.

Not a Pearl fan. Just because he jumps around on the sideline screaming and waving his hands on every ppssession, does not make him a good coach. Annoying in my opinion,

Because we missed 18 free throws. Thats why. No other reason.
All the other reasons listed are still what ifs. If lsu fouls at the end they could still make a ft and get the rebound on the miss.
If CJJ does call timely TO's auburn can still tie the game.
If Lsu makes free throws,lsu wins. Period

There is no free throw coach. A college coach shouldn't have to teach a player to shoot fricking free throws. They don't have time.
